Mark Legh-Smith MBE
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Established the company in 2010 after serving for 18 years as an officer in the British Army. Specialised in C2ISR and air defence, and recognised with an MBE.
Highly experienced in airspace, technology, security, and drone utilisation. Played a pivotal role in shaping the company's achievements with a proven approach that is instrumental in devising effective solutions for OSL's clients and partners in various sectors, including aviation, commercial, defence, and government.

Chief Operating Officer
Joined OSL as COO in May 2023 to lead business transformation as well as commercial, operational, and technology delivery. Experienced in technology and operations leadership roles within aviation, renewable energy, and smart cities businesses, providing solutions and services which improve safety, sustainability, and situational awareness for customers.

Joined OSL as CTO in October 2020, formerly being CEO of a counter-drone consultancy firm. Senior management in global civil and military domains and over 30 years’ technical expertise in avionics, electro-optics, RF, electronics, and mechanical engineering.

Joined OSL as CFO in August 2021 with responsibility for finance and fundraising. Former M&A banker on technology, aerospace, comms and industrial transactions involving high-growth companies, listed corporates, and private equity.
