    Company:

Due to expansion, we are now looking to recruit a Counter Drone Operator to join our existing Operations team on a full-time basis.

    Purpose of Role:

    The role involves being at the cutting edge of providing counter drone services to large scale international customers. In this role you will be primarily responsible for monitoring the counter drone system’s output. On detection of any unauthorised drones or personnel operating unlawfully in restricted areas, you will be the first line response liaising directly with the risk managers and decision makers responsible for safe operations at key international airports. You will also be required to liaise directly with police response teams and provide location information to enable them to intercept drone pilots and personnel acting unlawfully.

    Purpose of the role: 

    The Operations Department are responsible for the delivery of all OSL’s managed services contracts. OSL delivers a wide range of managed services from the monitoring of Counter Drone outputs for key international airports, simulation technician services in support of MoD training, and specialist communications equipment operation and maintenance.

    The Contracts Operations Manager will ensure delivery of contractual obligations to customers and ensure successful management and co-ordination of service delivery. The postholder will be responsible for the end-to-end management of contracts in support of business objectives and business growth throughout the lifecycle of each contract.

    The Operations Manager will report into the Director of Operations, who is accountable for overall service delivery to customers.

    The ability to maintain security clearance at SC level is required for this role.

    Key job requirements and responsibilities: 

    Operational Contract Management

    • Provide input to bids for services including solution/costs to meet SLAs
    • Oversee and measure the fulfilment of contractual obligations and end-to-end service delivery of managed services contracts including:
      • Deliver contracted scope in full on schedule, meeting SLA
      • Issue notices in accordance with contract (eg customer non-delivery of dependencies, delays, service credits etc)
      • Document and adhere to SoPs
      • Use key performance indicators to monitor and challenge performance and identify continual improvement opportunities
      • Apply contractual change control for changes requested by customer or otherwise required
